BabyPage is an innovative product that automates the creation of baby books through a mobile app, allowing for effortless compilation, design, and printing.
One of the founders approached JBD Studios with the goal of revitalizing the existing brand and redesigning the mobile app experience. We began by enhancing the brand’s identity, introducing a refined color palette, font style, and crafting key messages that resonate with a wider range of their target audience. We also constructed composite imagery aiming to elevate the brand’s visual appeal and facilitate its expansion.
We developed a marketing strategy for BabyPage, including the creation of mobile ads and email campaigns. Our comprehensive approach ensured that BabyPage could effectively engage with their audience, promoting unique offerings while driving user acquisition and retention.

New Visual Identity
Wordpress Web Design
The BabyPage website was custom built in WordPress for easy management. The primary purpose of the site is to act as a gateway for new users into the BabyPage Desktop App, where they can easily create bespoke baby books.
Mobile Product Design
The cornerstone of the BabyPage app is the automatic age-based SMS prompts that allow users to easily document their child’s milestones. Answers are converted into descriptive content within the book builder. However, the original app missed the mark in terms of functionality and navigability in this area. It was also challenging to manage more than one child within the old app, which was something that we addressed in the updated design.
First, we streamlined navigation by focusing on two things: the main dashboard and the age-and-event-based milestones. This allows users to build a baby book right from the dash without digging through layers of buried navigation. We also enhanced the user flow for managing multiple children within a single account. Finally, we wanted to simplify the book customization process with a systemic approach to format layouts, photos, and content within the book builder.
Auto-Generated Baby Book Creator
We’ve streamlined the creation of BabyPages with a user-friendly approach that features auto-generated content derived from question-and-answer prompts. Age and holiday milestones serve as a baseline for generating complete books. Users can personalize pages with custom illustrations and design elements, and easily download and share with friends and family.
